Product Information

A beautiful Green Phantom Quartz crystal from Madagascar, featuring a distinct green phantom formation suspended within the clear to softly translucent Quartz crystal.

Weighing approximately 10g and measuring around 25.8 × 6.8mm, this is a delicate little collector specimen with an elegant elongated crystal form. The green mineral growth inside creates a visible phantom-like layer, recording an earlier stage of the crystal's natural development.

What is Phantom Quartz?

Phantom Quartz forms when the growth of a Quartz crystal is interrupted and mineral material settles across its surface. When the Quartz begins growing again, that earlier crystal outline can become enclosed inside the newer growth, leaving a visible "phantom" within the finished crystal.

In this specimen, the internal phantom appears green against the paler Quartz, creating a striking contrast and preserving part of the crystal's growth history inside the specimen itself.

Intention & Chakra

In crystal traditions, Green Phantom Quartz is associated with growth, progress and moving through periods of change. Its layered formation makes it particularly symbolic of personal development, with each stage becoming part of what follows rather than being left behind.

The green colouring is traditionally associated with the Heart Chakra, while Quartz is commonly connected with clarity and the amplification of intention.
