Heulandite Crystal Specimen - India
Product Information
striking natural Heulandite mineral specimen from India, weighing 965g and displaying an impressive spread of pale, glassy crystals across a dark contrasting matrix.
The specimen features numerous well-defined Heulandite crystals in clear, icy white and softly translucent tones. Larger crystal groups form the main focal points, surrounded by smaller individual crystals and delicate pale mineral growth across the matrix. Many of the crystals show beautifully defined faces and natural internal structure, catching the light particularly well when viewed from different angles.
The dark grey matrix provides a dramatic backdrop for the much paler mineralisation, while its natural contours give the specimen an almost sculptural appearance. At approximately 158.7mm tall, this is a substantial display piece that can be appreciated both as a decorative crystal and as an interesting mineral specimen.
Natural variations, inclusions and associated mineral growth remain visible throughout, preserving the character of the original formation.
Mineral Information
Heulandite belongs to the zeolite group of minerals and is a hydrated calcium-aluminium silicate. It commonly develops in cavities within volcanic rocks, where mineral-rich fluids allow crystals to form over time.
Heulandite can occur in white, colourless, peach, pink and other subtle shades, often forming distinctive tabular or bladed crystals with a vitreous to pearly lustre.
Indian zeolite localities are particularly well known amongst mineral collectors for producing attractive cavity specimens containing Heulandite and a wide variety of associated minerals.
The exact identity of the additional pale and dark mineralisation visible on this specimen has not been confirmed, so it has been left undesignated rather than making assumptions from appearance alone.
Associated Intention
Focus & Mental Clarity
Within crystal traditions, Heulandite is commonly associated with reflection, mental clarity and creating space for new perspectives.
Its gentle associations make it particularly suited to quiet contemplation, meditation and periods where greater clarity or understanding is being sought.
Associated Chakras
Crown • Third Eye
The clear and white colouring of Heulandite is traditionally associated with the Crown Chakra, connected symbolically with awareness, spiritual exploration and a broader perspective.
Its traditional links with insight and reflection also connect it with the Third Eye Chakra, associated with intuition and inner understanding.
Shape & Formation Meaning
Natural crystal clusters are traditionally associated with creating a collective or radiating energy, with multiple crystal faces and terminations occurring together rather than through a single polished point.
Because this specimen has been left in its natural formation, its structure reflects the way the minerals originally developed rather than a shape created through cutting or polishing.
