Weighing approximately 15g and measuring around 12.4 × 7.7mm, this is a particularly lovely example for collectors of unusual Apatite, Pakistani minerals and natural crystal specimens.
About the Material
Apatite is a calcium phosphate mineral that occurs in an unusually broad range of colours, including blue, green, yellow, pink and purple. While blue and green material is perhaps more familiar in the crystal market, purple Apatite offers a beautiful alternative with soft violet and lilac tones.
This specimen comes from Shigar Valley in the Shigar District of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, an area renowned among mineral collectors for producing an exceptional variety of crystallised mineral specimens.
Intention & Chakra
In crystal traditions, purple Apatite is associated with mental clarity, insight, inspiration and spiritual awareness. It is often used symbolically when working through mental blocks, developing intuition or seeking a clearer perspective.
Its violet colouring is most closely associated with the Third Eye Chakra and Crown Chakra, traditionally connected with intuition, perception and higher awareness.
Intention: Focus & Mental Clarity
Chakra: Third Eye Chakra & Crown Chakra
Natural Crystal Symbolism
Because this specimen has been left in its natural crystal form rather than polished or carved, its original structure remains the focus. Natural crystals are often associated symbolically with authenticity, growth and allowing things to develop in their own way.
The defined upright crystal also gives the piece a naturally directional appearance, traditionally associated with focus and directing intention.
