UV Reactive Purple Fluorite | Red Fluorescence

A substantial UV reactive Fluorite specimen, weighing 380g and featuring deep purple crystal growth with darker smoky areas and sections of lighter translucent Fluorite.

In daylight, the colour ranges from soft violet and lavender through to deep purple and near-black, with layered crystal faces and natural internal zoning visible across the specimen. Held to the light, some of the upper sections become beautifully translucent and reveal much warmer purple tones.

This specimen has an additional feature under ultraviolet light, with red UV fluorescence visible through the central area. The reaction adds another dimension to a piece that already changes considerably depending on the angle and lighting.

Fluorite is traditionally associated with concentration, organisation and mental clarity. Purple Fluorite is particularly connected with reflection and intuition, making this a popular mineral for clearing mental clutter and encouraging a more focused state of mind.

It is most closely associated with the Third Eye and Crown Chakras.
