Product Information

A beautifully earthy Wulfenite crystal specimen from the Tian Shan region of Xinjiang, China, covered with tiny warm orange to burnt amber crystals across its natural matrix.

Rather than the larger tabular crystals Wulfenite is perhaps best known for, this piece is all about the detail. Across the surface are countless small, glassy crystals that catch the light in flashes of honey, rust and deep orange, contrasting beautifully against the rich brown mineral matrix.

Turn it in the light and different pockets begin to sparkle, revealing just how densely crystallised the specimen is. Its completely natural, unpolished form also preserves the rugged texture and character of the matrix around the Wulfenite.

Originating from Tian Shan, Xinjiang Province, China, this is a lovely locality specimen for mineral collectors and anyone drawn to unusual raw crystals with plenty to explore up close.
